The Wounded Warrior Project

Many men and women risk their lives and health to protect our freedom. We should help them especially during this joyous time of the year. Our school has a club dedicated to doing just that.

Returning is a difficult challenge for disabled veterans. “The Wounded Warrior Project helps returning veterans get back into the swing of things after the traumatizing experience that they have gone through,” said Senior Sandra Ranic.

The hospital bills are expensive and many veterans can’t pay them. “We should serve the people who served us,” said Senior and Vice President Jakob Jenkins.

The club has been trying to plan some fundraisers this year. “We are looking to do a 5k walk or run,” said Ranic.

Last year the club ran a very successful fundraiser. “My brother is a student ambassador and provided pins and stickers, we sold a lot made around 300 dollars,” said Jenkins

The club supports a good cause and we should support it however we can.Their goal of money to raise is fairly easy to reach if we all support it “My goal is $500,” said Jenkins.
