As we enter the second round of the playoffs following a win against Orange County, the Panthers look more and more prepared to take on fifth-seed Albemarle. The Panthers are poised to potentially make a run deep into the playoffs with a talented team, with seniors Alex Nemer, Kashmier Jackson, Kavon Chase, Christian Tessman, Jacob Printz, and juniors Grant Misch, Jibreel Causey, and Hunter Lawall being selected for the All-Conference 14 team. The Panthers are favored in this game, as both teams have an opponent in common: Falls Church. Albemarle struggled to win last week against Falls Church, winning 31-21, while the Panthers beat them handily 46-14. The Patriots also run a Pro/Spread offense, which is the perfect match-up for the Panthers’ athletic defense. The Albemarle Patriots are led by quarterback Jquan Anderson and head coach Brandon Isaiah.

“Our hard work has put us in a position to win on Friday,” said an optimistic Jackson.

Come to the game Fri., Nov. 18; it will be a blackout!
