Spring break is almost here, and if you’re tired of going to the same places, check out some cool spots around the DMV. Whether you’re looking for nature, history, or just trying to have a fun time, there’s something for everyone. Here are a few places to add to your spring break experience list:
National Cherry Blossom Festival
Every spring, D.C. hosts a cherry blossom festival: but it’s not just all about admiring the trees. There are cool cultural events, live music, and even food trucks serving all kinds of treats and foods! Whether you’re into artsy performances or just craving a tasty snack, there’s something for everyone. It’s great for pictures, too.
Georgetown, D.C.
Georgetown is a great pick. You can walk along the streets. There’s many little vintage shops for you to browse through, even if you’re just window shopping. It’s also just a great place to walk around with friends and enjoy scenery especially in the springtime. They also have a spring art walk!
New Kitchens on the Block
“New Kitchens on the Block’ is offering sneak peeks into the most popular new DMV restaurants before they have officially opened. This festival features many celebrity chefs. It’s great if you love trying new foods.
SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Tour
This ones a bit after spring, but it’s too exciting not to mention. SZA and Kendrick Lamar are both together for their first ever U.S stadium tour in Landover, MD on June 18. It’ll definitely be a big highlight of the summer.
National Baltimore Aquarium
If you’re into aquatic animals, the Baltimore aquarium is the best pick on here. Spring break definitely gets repetitive so switching it up and seeing exotic sea creatures could be really fun. Some things are interactive as well! There’s also many seafood places around if you’re interested.
