Night at the Falls is this Saturday. Here’s what you need to know.
This school year, Night at the Falls will take place on Saturday May 9, from five to seven in the evening. Additionally, the primary purpose of Night at the Falls is to introduce rising 9th graders and other Potomac Falls Students with the opportunity to learn about the clubs they can join. As such, The Roar is here to provide you with a sneak peak of what the night will hold.
Virtual Reality Theme Park
A virtual reality theme park will be available to every event-goer with the purchase of a $1.00, all-you-can-ride bracelet.
Fire Truck Touch a Truck
A fire truck will make a fashionable entrance during Night at The Falls.
Petting Zoo
A petting zoo will be featured at Night at the Falls, with adorable animals being on display for all event-goers.
Dodgeball Tournament
A dodgeball tournament will be held at Night at the Falls; with its sponsor being SCA.
Pickle Ball Tournament
A Pickle Ball Tournament will take place during Night at the Falls; with its sponsors being the senior class of 26’.
Babu Ji Food Truck & Brusters Icecream
The Halah Babu Ji food truck will be available to all event-goers hoping to grab a bite at Night at the Falls, with delicious items like loaded fries and cheesesteaks on its menu. Additionally, Brusters Ice Cream will be available for everyone in need of something sweet and refreshing after taking part in the various events offered at Night at the Falls.
Organization-Sponsored Booths
Organizations and or companies like DC United, DC Spirit, Food For Neighbors and Cascades Library will be running booths at the Night at the Falls.
Student-Run Club Booths
Over twenty student-run club booths will be open at Night at the Falls; with games to play and prizes to win at each. Additionally, the Potomac Falls National Art Honor Society (NAHS) will be running three booths of their own. These include booths with face painting, a booth with an art show, as well as a doodle booth.
