The idea of impeaching President Barack Obama based on a wide variety of alleged constitutional violations has already been pushed around by a surprising list of members of Congress, including Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and even Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif. Now, Rep. Paul Broun, a Georgia Republican who is looking to replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss, is joining the list.

Many people believe there are violations related to Obamacare and even immigration that give reason to impeach. “Obama has little to no respect for the Constitution. If presented with a vote, congress should vote yes to impeach him,“ said senior Joey Sweeney. WND has been reporting on members of congress who have discussed to terminate the President:

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa; Rep. Blake Farenthold, R-Texas; Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas; Rep. Bill Flores, R-Texas; Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif.; Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.; Rep. Kerry Bentivolio, R-Mich.; Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas; Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla.; Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah; Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.; Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas; Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla.; and Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla.

President Obama has openly exercised enormous power throughout his Presidency, causing Representatives Steve King and Blake Farenthold to voice their concern. King pointed to the President’s actions on immigration, such as his orders for authorities not to enforce current immigration law, as grounds for impeachment. The two said that politically, Obama is exercising great power and believes Congress cannot or will not stop him.

“He is exploiting the holes in the legal system and has violated the Bill of Rights with scandals like Fast and Furious,” said Sweeney. During the two-year Fast and Furious Operation, agents in Arizona with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives allowed the sale of more than 2,000 guns to suspected criminals thought to be linked to Mexican drug gangs.

“I do not think Obama should be impeached and has done a good job with the situation he was give by his predecessor,” said senior Simon Dawson. Despite the controversy, President Obama has done very well, corresponding to a Democratic agenda. He has lifted restrictions on stem cell research, improved the economy from where it began in his Presidency, and has improved the American standing in the world community.

“I do not support some of the actions that have been gaining criticism and controversy, but I also believe every other President had their fair share of scandals, many of which that got swept under the rug,” said Dawson.

At this point, despite recent backing, the impeachment of President Barack Obama seems extremely unlikely, if not warranted by an extreme event in the near future. Though his scandalous actions will not and should not go unnoticed, impeachment may still be that of a stretch.
