Meet SCA secretary candidate Devin MacGoy

The secretary candidate who is looking out for your interests.

Meet SCA secretary candidate Devin MacGoy

There may not be a more motivated candidate for SCA secretary than Devin MacGoy.  During his first year at PFHS he served as freshman class secretary and currently serves as the sophomore class president.

He is a very responsible student who cares about the lives of other PFHS students.  MacGoy strives to truly make class office his first priority.  Additionally, he has a heart for service and would like to further expand the Panther Project next year, while making the overall school experience more fun.  If MacGoy wins, he simply wishes to start delivering his campaign promises, and maybe go out for some ice cream to celebrate.

“I’d describe myself as somebody who’s really motivated to make a difference and just do something that’s memorable,” said MacGoy.  This candidate clearly has a positive vision for our school, and wants to make PFHS a better place.

Q and A

Q:  What do you think makes you stand out from the other candidates?

A:  My whole campaign is looking out for your interests, just giving people a voice is really what sets me apart, because people want to be heard.

Q:  If you were featured in a documentary, who would narrate your life?

A:  I don’t want to say something typical like Morgan Freeman, but I don’t know.   I think I’d go with Oprah, just because she’s really funny, she’s a cool person; I like her voice.

Q:  Who is your biggest man-crush?

A:  The first thing that pops into my head is Daniel Craig,  just because he’s pretty cool.

Q:  Do you have any hidden talents?

A:  I think I’m pretty good at the piano, I’ve done some competitions with that.

Q:  What do you hope to do after high school?

A:   I’m thinking international relations right now, something where I can make a positive difference because that’s really what I want to do; something where I can make my mark on the world.
