Mariana Brazao wants to be your next senior class president
As the juniors finish up the hardest year of high school, they anxiously await what is known as the best year of high school, senior year. In order to make this next year a success, current junior Mariana Brazao has decided to run for senior class president. “Next year is our last year, senior year, and I really want to make it a memorable year. I believe that I can do that through our spirit days, homecoming week, and Mr. PFHS; I really want to make those memories we’ll have forever,” said Brazao. With a desire to better her class’ experiences, Brazao has a lofty agenda for the upcoming year. “My goals as president are to win, of course, homecoming week and to win overall everything and have an amazing hallway that people have never seen before. I really want to win our pep rallies and just really create a spirited environment for our last year here,” said Brazao. Due to her involvement in various clubs, playing for the school soccer team, and five honor societies, Brazao keeps busy; however, her business only makes her a more qualified leader. “I’m a leader in several clubs right now and I’ll be in Yearbook next year. I’m really good at working with groups and being creative. I have a strong sense of leadership.” Although there will be fierce competition for the spot of president, Brazao is a strong candidate; she is determined to make a lasting impression on her class and the memories that will follow.
