Class Officer Profiles
Danielle Hayden wants to be your next junior class President
Sophomore Danielle Hayden is one of the candidates vying for the junior class presidency. Deciding to run, as it turns out, was an easy decision for her.
“I believed that I would make an excellent leader. I am ambitious, creative, organized, and committed. I thought this opportunity would allow me to use all of these qualities to help my class,” said Hayden. In addition to this strong belief, however, Hayden also many qualifications for the office she seeks.
“I have been selected to intern for Delegate Barbara Comstock’s campaign for Congress. I am also in Barbara Comstock’s Youth Leadership program. I am in the Debate team, and last year I was a varsity cheerleader. I hope to continue to demonstrate my leadership skills in this position,” said Hayden.
Already, Hayden has been planning on what to pursue in the event that she does win. If elected, she has several policies lined up.
“My main focus will be prioritizing time management and organization. I want to exceed expectations for Homecoming, Powder Puff, and Prom,” said Hayden.
Hayden is optimistic about how things have gone thus far with her campaign, and has high hopes that they will remain this way.
“I think it’s gone well. I didn’t want to just say that I would take this position seriously, but I wanted to demonstrate it as well. Actions speak louder than words,” said Hayden. Ambitious, confident, and responsible, Hayden stands poised to make an immediate positive impact on her school, giving her a distinct advantage.
