Casteneda wants to be your next senior class president.

An outgoing and personable young lady, junior Sara Castaneda eagerly awaits to be the next senior class president. Different candidates have different reasons why you should vote for them but for Castaneda, her strong point is the optimal characteristic of a president.

“I really feel like I can reach out to everyone. I’m very much of a people person and I wouldn’t exclude certain people or groups; I really want to get to know everyone,” said Castaneda. With the office of president being the highest position, it takes a certain kind of person to hold its power.

“I wanted to run for president so I could step up and take some charge and help our class become more unified,” said Castaneda. It’s more than just confidence that makes up this dynamic go-getter. Castaneda is a very upbeat character who cares for each person individually.

“I’m really personable and interactive with people. People can come and talk to me and overall I’m super sociable,” said Castaneda. What it comes down to, when deciding on who to vote for, it is all about the candidates ideas and plans for the future. Whoever has to best ideas deserves the position and Castaneda has just that.

“My main goal is just making everyone’s voice heard, that’s really what this is all about,” said Castaneda. When this social butterfly isn’t busy campaigning for her victory, you can find Castaneda movin’ and groovin’.

“I dance 24/7. I’m captain of the dance team and I also dance outside of school,” said Castaneda.

1.) Do you have any special skills?

“I’m just really good at understanding people, I’m just such a people person.”

2.) Describe your ideal weekend…

“Taking a day trip out to the beach with friends and just laying out under the sun all day.”

3.) What emotional feelings would you have if you won?

“I’d be so excited and grateful to everyone who voted for me and believed in me that I could lead our class.”
