The new theater has attracted many new patrons because of its luxurious reclining chairs and new foods.

Making its official debut on Dec.11, Regal cinemas unveiled its new location at Dulles Town Center. The new theater not only has new technology and food, but also feature reclining chairs for the viewers to enjoy. Senior Brian Eyler, who currently works at the existing theater in Countryside, is excited to be moving to the new location.

“It is really nice. It has recliners, an expanded food menu, and better employees and managers,” said Eyler of the upgraded cinema and experience.
The new theater also boasts a Real-D 3D projection systems available for 3D enhanced presentations. This technology creates a real life experience for the viewer, and is very advanced technology.

Compared to the existing theater, the new one will house a plethora of new foods to choose from to eat during the movie. “[They offer] Bacon burgers, mozzarella sticks, waffle fries, jalapeno peppers, smoothies, soft serve ice cream, chicken tenders, and spicy chicken tenders,” said Eyler.

This new theater is not just full of new foods and seats. “They are going to be playing all the new movies for two weeks before the old Regal starts playing them,” said senior Claudia Cabral, who works at the Regal in Countryside.

The theater is to the right of the Sears store, and contains an alternate entrance into the mall.
