Tarik Terry is an Old Dominion University-bound senior who hopes to leave a “fun, happy mark” on Potomac Falls.  It was his friend, senior Gianluca Grignoli and a tweet that read “you only live high school once” that encouraged him to pursue the Mr. PFHS competition.  Terry enjoys playing basketball and his hidden-talents include “shmoney” dancing and high-pitched singing.

When asked why he should win this competition, Terry’s reply was a sure and simple, “Just look at me.”

If Terry does win Mr. PFHS, he will be found celebrating at Disneyland.  To top all of that off, his favorite member of One Direction is Harry Styles.

Q. Where do you see yourself in ten years?

A. “Ten years? President of the United States”

 Q. Who is your biggest teacher-crush?

A. “Mr. Ewald and Mrs. Hoilman.”

A. “Win a national championship of some sorts.”

Q. What is your biggest pet-peeve in life?

A. “Slow walkers in the hallways; can’t stand them.”

A. “Kourtney.”

A. “Pizza, it’s amazing, that’s why; it’s so versatile.”

A. “No, I’ve never really seen it, so until I see it I can’t believe it.”

Q. If you could audition for American Idol what song would you audition with?

A. “What’s that song?  ‘Jar of Hearts’ by Christina Perri.”

A. “David Beckham…he’s got that bubble butt.”

A. “Hunger, violence, I mean everything’s a problem; there’s a lot of problems.”
