An upbeat and joyous soul, senior Luke Borman is often found running to a meeting, probably late, or helping with senior class activities, or maybe even coming home from a swim practice. Though he may have been unsure of his presence at this year’s Mr. PFHS competition, he was ultimately convinced after talking to a fellow contestant, James Kenney. Now, he is excited about the competition, asking Mrs. Lin, William Lin’s mom, to escort him. “She is basically my second mom,” he said. After the numerous practices the contestants attended, Borman says the competition is going to be even better than last year. “Mr. PFHS is the greatest show on Earth; we did a run through yesterday and it was A+ perfect.” he said.

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island what food would you bring?

A: “I would bring a lifetime supply of bagels, bagels are probably the greatest food ever invented, besides maybe donuts, which are just like sweet bagels, so they’re just like a type of bagels.”

Q: What is your biggest fear?

A: “To be honest my biggest fear is needles, I hate needles. Sometimes I pass out when I’m giving blood not because of the blood loss but because of how big the needle is.”

Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be?

A: “If I had a superpower it would be that I could wake up when my alarm goes off so I would never, ever oversleep ”

Q: If you were a song what would you be?

A: “I would be something by Lorde, actually no I would be “Ode to Joy” by Beethoven; that’s such a joyous song.”

Q: If you had to be one female celebrity who would you be?

A: “I would be Lorde. I love Lorde; she’s perfect. She’s the best person in the world.”

Q: What teacher do you most relate to?

A: “Probably Mrs. Hoffman, people always think that we’re somehow related, cause were always thinking the same things, but we’re not actually related despite how similar we look.”

Q: Where is Waldo?

A: “Where’s Waldo? I’m Waldo, haven’t you seen the senior panoramic? I’m in the middle, kind of to the left.”

A: “I’d have to say March 12 because that’s when Mr. PFHS is; you should all come out and see it.”
