Girls tennis has returned for another spring season with 13 players. Junior Julia Thomas and the other players are really excited for the new season. Especially the match against Dominion High School. “I look forward to the Dominion match because I have some friends who play for Dominion and it will be fun to play against them.” ,said Thomas. The match against Dominion is on March 17.

Thomas plays the #1 position on the team. The top 6 ranked players participate in the majority of the matches. To determine the top 6, the most experience players challenge each other to move up positions. Thomas personally looks forward to help all the new members that made the team and is “looking forward to improving my performance and my serve so that it will be consistent and will become more powerful.” The team is mostly preparing for the matches that will get them to districts.
