Spring Sports Preview: Boys Lacrosse
The lacrosse team is looking to turn some heads this year after their previous 2-14 season. “It will be a building season [this year]” said sophomore Jake Hazlett.
The team lost seven seniors after the 2014 season. “Leadership roles definitely need to be filled,” said Hazlett. The team has several major games they are looking forward to. “[We have some big games against] Heritage, Tusky, and Rock Ridge because we’ve had a rivalry in the past,”
The team has not been able to practice outside due to the poor weather conditions. All the players have been working on stick skills and shooting in the main and aux gym.
The boys put in a lot of hard work during the off-season and are ready for their first game. The team will have their season opener on March 16 against Loudoun County High School.
