A fun loving and motivated spirit shine through in one of this year’s candidates for Creative Director, junior Colleen McNickle. Excited to make a difference, McNickle acknowledges that it does not have to be all work and no play. “It seems like the most fun position, you get to be creative, you get to plan things, you get to decorate a lot,” she said. Drawing from her three year experiencein high school art, McNickle can bring a creative edge to the new student government. “We all work together on most stuff, but creative director just seemed like the most fun for me personally, you have a lot of say in pep rallies and spirit days and the decorations surrounding homecoming and stuff like that,” said McNickle.

Q: If you got 3 wishes from a genie, what would you wish for?

A: “I would wish for tons of puppies, everyone to be spirited in the school, cause I think people should get more involved and get excited about being a panther! And then my third wish would be to end world hunger.”

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring one food, what would it be?

A: “Probably pork chops, I love them, and you can cook them a lot of different ways.”

Q: Who is your role model?

A: “Jennifer Lawrence because she’s hilarious and down to earth.”

Q: If you could pick any fictional person to be real, who would it be?

A: “I think I would want Rick from The Walking Dead.”

Q: If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?

A: “I would probably just stick with dog, I love dogs and puppies.”

Q: What is the theme song to your life?

A: “Maybe the theme song to Spongebob.”

Q: What is your favorite Twitter account?

A: “I don’t know, I like all the parody accounts because they all just copy each other’s tweets and I think its so funny.”
