An upbeat and positive soul, junior Devin MacGoy is most commonly found participating in something for SCA or running to a meeting. MacGoy says that if elected the school will be better than ever, from peprallies,student incentives, or positivity throughout the school. “I would really like to expand ‘fair at the falls’ it’s something the whole community can take away from, as well as, maximizing the communication of everyone throughout the school,” said MacGoy. The returning SCA Secretary has hopes of bringing new ideas as well as old back into the student council. Macgoy is very responsible and respected throughout the school.

Q: What do you think makes you stand out from the other candidates?

A: “My willingness to listen to everyone no matter who they are, and my openness to everything.”

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island what food would you bring?

A: “Strawberry Ice Cream, it’s my favorite dessert.”

Q: Who is your role model?

A: “Pope Francis, he’s really humble and dedicated to helping people out and open minded, even though he leads one religion he is open to any others no matter what it is.”

Q: What teacher do you most relate to?

A: “Miss. Abrey, we have known each other these past three years, and she’s similar to me and never fails to make me laugh.”

Q: What’s your favorite T.V. show?

A: “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.”

Q: What do you hope to do after high school?

A: “I plan on going to Georgetown University and study International Relations and Political Science, I’d really love to go into the Peace Corps to serve our country through diplomacy and serve America.”
