Meet Anthony Lopresti
Contestant for Mr. Potomac Falls
An extremely outspoken, and witty individual, senior Anthony Lopresti has been ready to fulfill his dream from sixth grade of being a Mr. Potomac Falls contestant.
“In sixth grade, I went to my first Mr. PFHS pageant. When I saw Will Colfet wearing a leotard and dancing to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce as his talent, I knew I wanted to participate my senior year,” said Lopresti.
As a member of the Student Council Association (SCA), Lopresti is often found very busy around the school. As the Sergeant-at-Arms, his main job is to organize and execute events that involve the school and school spirit, for example, pep rallies. With a position that involves great skills such as creativity, and organization, Lopresti certainly has an advantage as a Mr. PFHS contestant.
Every year, the contestants get to choose a talent in which they will perform in front of the audience. Lopresti’s is unsurprisingly an unexpected, yet definitely entertaining talent.
“My talent is playing Star Wars songs on the recorder,” said Lopresti, “I will play the songs while two of my friends have a light saber battle behind me.”
Good luck to Lopresti as he takes on his fellow classmates at the event.
