Congratulations to Gabby Darling on being named The Roar’s Athlete of the Week! The senior forward grabbed a goal against Stone Bridge, propelling them to their first win of the season.

Darling is a two year varsity player, but has been playing soccer since early on in her youth. Beating Stone Bridge was especially sweet for Darling. Since about half of the Stone Bridge team is on her travel team.

“It was one of those games where we were connecting passes and listening to each other. One of the best games we have played yet,” said Darling.

The team travels to Briar Woods on Mon., March 27 at 7:15 p.m.
