As a three year varsity member, senior Mallory Levenhagen has great hopes to finish out her final season as a Panther as strong as possible. As a center defender, Levenhagen uses her authority and leadership to make sure the rest of the defense is doing what they’re supposed to do, and ensuring no balls make it to the goalie.

“Personally, as a senior my goal is to play every game like it’s my last and to continue to stay positive and be a leader for the team,” said Levenhagen.

The Potomac Falls varsity soccer team has been working very well together to continue their goal of making it to regionals, as they did last year. Working hard and working together led the girls to beat a huge competitor, Stone Bridge 4-1.

“We all connected on the field and played as a unit. We also played like we wanted to win, which in my opinion, is the most important aspect to actually winning. When we walk on the field determined, that sets the stage for the rest of the game,” said Levenhagen.

Good luck to Levenhagen and the rest of the girls as they finish out their season and continue to strive for their goals.
