Opening the season 4-1, freshman Liban Farah plays tight end and nose guard for the freshman team. He’s been playing football for seven years – starting out in the Lower Louden Boys Football League on the Saints. According to an interview with Coach Trey Flynn, his energy, dedication, and work ethic make him football’s Freshman to Watch.
Q: Can you describe the energy that they bring to the team?
“Liban is always smiling and has a contagious laugh, his energy is always positive which gets our football team and my classroom excited.”

Q: Why did you recommend them for this/what sets them apart?
“Going back to the energy, Liban not only on the football field, but in my classroom, works extremely hard and usually his energy lifts others to do more or better.”
Q: What are their strengths?
“I would say that Liban and another freshman, Matt Groscup, have the strength of taking the seriousness out of a not so serious situation, they both can calm a room with one word.”
