Get holiday gifts and support the PTSO and local small businesses by attending the second annual Holiday Bazaar

The PTSO (Parent- Teacher- Student Organization) is hosting the second annual Holiday Bazaar in the gym on Dec. 2. This event is a fundraiser and its purpose is to raise money for the school.

“The goal, aside from fundraising, is to increase awareness and create excitement and anticipation around this annual event,” said Tonya Lovelace, the head of this event.

Many small companies will be holding booths such as Mary Kay, LulaRoe, doTERRA, Young Life Essential Oils, Thirty-One, Paparazzi, Color Street, Stella and Dot and more. They will be selling jewelry, clothing, accessories, cosmetics, essential oils, and many other items. In addition, baked goods and snacks will be available. There will even be a few Potomac Falls clubs holding booths.

One of these clubs will be Global Ambassadors, who is raising money to host the foreign exchange students at the International Summit. Potomac Falls will be hosting the summit orientation, so the funds will primarily go toward that event. They will be holding a bake sale with homemade treats made by students and will also sell small poinsettias flowers.

“I’m looking forward to getting closer to our fundraising goal during the bazaar. I’m also excited to see the other booths that will be there,” said senior Sarah Donovan, who is an officer of Global Ambassadors.

The event goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 2. “We invite everyone to come out and do some shopping. We also invite you to volunteer to help out at the event if you have time,” said Lovelace. “We hope to see you there.”
