Zareen Emdad, Staff Writer
Zareen Emdad is starting her first year on The Roar staff. She is very excited to be on The Roar staff and be able to meet and get to know people she never would have talked to before. She is a super huge SuperWhoLock fan (only two-thirds, she hasn’t watched Doctor Who yet! Don’t hate her!) , kind of an obsessed fangirl. Zareen is Vice President of MSA (Muslim Student Association) and is very involved with a local organization called Bdesh Foundation that raises money to help the needy in Bangladesh. She is a book nerd, loves photography, drawing, and is a DIY freak–Pinterest is her life. She one day hopes to attend The University of Mary Washington and major in Liberal Arts and maybe even become an English teacher when she grows up. She enjoys to teach and write. As you can tell she is a very hands-on kind of person. Her sanctuary is her little white bench swing outside of her house. To be able to just sit there and feel the wind and sun touch her face and to enjoy the beauty of nature is a blessing.
